Markus is a chief engineer at LCBC, and his own research uses fMRI and psychophysics to study how visual memory works in the brain. He sets up the MRI side of a study — working with the physicists at the hospital to keep protocols valid and current, and keeping collection running once it starts — and then does the analysis, on machines larger than a laptop when it needs them. If your imaging study needs a protocol that will still hold up when you come to analyse it, he is the one to ask.
